This framed print features "The Return" by C.B. Chambers.

The story goes that one day Chambers stopped in the Church of the Holy Innocents in New York City for mass. Afterwards, he saw the man pictured above kneeling before a life size crucifix, and quickly made a sketch to capture the moment. He learned that the man was a Frenchman who had lost the faith since coming to New York. This man was going to fight in World War I, and came to the church of the Holy Innocents to pray for the return of his faith.

This image comes as a high-quality canvas print in a cherry wood frame.
