These alabaster bookends feature classic image of Mary Holding her Son, the Lamb of God. Able to keep heavy books in line, they both organize and decorate your home. This pair of bookends makes the perfect personal gift for everyone with a devotion to ur Blessed Mother and the Eucharist.
In the late 1800's, French artist William Adolphe Bouguereau painted this lovely depiction of L'innocence; Our Lady holding the Christ Child and a spotless lamb in her arms. The prayer is taken from the Preparation for Communion Prayer in the mass, which in turn is taken from John 1:29.

Alabaster is a building and decorating material created from the mineral gypsum that has been used since the time of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. It boasts an attractive smooth finish and will last for years to come.
