This greeting card features "Christ the King", painted by C.B. Chambers in between the 1920's and 1950's. These cards come in a bundle of 6. In it, Christ is wearing red and white robes and a royal crown, with the crown of thorns over it. His Sacred Heart is glowing through His garments, He is holding His right hand up in blessing, and in His left He is holding the world.
Charles Bosseron Chambers was an Catholic American artist. He painted mostly portraits, and in the 50's his religious works became wildly popular, leading to him being known as the "Norman Rockwell" of religious art. This piece was meticulously restored by our team of graphic designers here in Steubenville, OH.
