"Loving Father in heaven, we ask you to protect the innocence of children, both within our own families and in the families of others. May childhood be a blessed time of discovery and formation fostered by loving parents and adults.

Send angels from heaven to guard children against those who would harm them and , through the intercession of St. Nicholas, protect their chastity, purity, and sense of virtue from harm or corruption.

May those who have been abused physically, emotionally or sexually find healing in the loving arms of their heavenly Father. Shield the hurting from seeking peace and healing in the wrong places, and make your Holy Church a place of safety for all.

Bring to justice those who commit crimes against children. Protect harmed children and their families from fostering hatred or retaliation, and guide them on the path to heroic mercy and forgiveness. Amen.
