This image is from the mosaic in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and is a copy of the painting of Our Lady of China by Beijing-born artist John Lu Hung-Nien, a convert to Catholicism. The first Cardinal of China, Thomas Cardinal Tien, used the image to promote a flourishing devotion to the Blessed Mother and prayers for the persecuted Church in China. Our image comes as a high-quality canvas print in an attractive gold solid wood frame. Handcrafted in Steubenville, Ohio, this unique work of art is sure to be treasured for generations to come.
