This reproduction of Vicente López Portaña's "Joseph's Dream" shows Saint Joseph and baby Jesus sound asleep, with an angel touching Joseph's shoulder telling him that they need to flee to Egypt. Mary is the only one awake, sitting next to Joseph, and she is thoughtfully looking up at the angel. 

The artist, Vicente López Portaña (1772-1850) was a famous portrait painter from Spain in the academic neo-classicist tradition. He is known for his attention to detail and portrait paintings. By the end of his years as a court painter for the royal families of Spain, he had made portraits of almost every important personage of his time.
