This "Humanity and Life" Note Card is also referred to as the Cycle of Seasons. It shows a picture of the cosmos, zoomed in upon earth showing the progression of the seasons, and allegorically also the life of man and possibly of all time. There are three creatures blowing upon the earth in each of the concentric circles above the earth, 12 all told. This was drawn in her work "Liber Divinorum Operum", the last of three books chronicling her visions.

St. Hildegard von Bingen is a Doctor of the Church from the 11th century. She was a Benedictine mystic, theologian, philosopher, musician, poet, artist, natural scientist, and pharmacist and is considered the founder of scientific natural history in Germany.

Printed on heavy warm white linen cover, these 4.25"x5.5" cards come with envelopes, and can be bought in bundles of 6.
